Terms and Conditions
Bookings
– Bookings to be made via our website, opening hours are Monday through to Sunday, April to September 7am until 8pm, then October to March 7am until 6pm. The last booking time is 30 minutes before closing time.
– Alternatively, if you have no internet access or you are struggling to book then please feel free to give us a telephone call.
– Payments to be made through our website upon booking via credit card/debit card using the Stripe payment method.
– If you arrive late to the field unfortunately your session can not be extended or refunds may not be given.
– Cancellations; Your session can be amended with more than 12 hours notice via our website.
Park Rules
– Please ensure that your dog is up to date with vaccinations and flea and worm treatment when visiting the park. If showing any signs of stomach upset/conjunctivitis or any other spreadable illness then please rebook for when your dog is back to full health, we don’t offer a refund if this situation happens with less than 12 hours before visiting the park.
– By law dogs must wear a collar or harness with an up to date ID tag.
– The maximum number of dogs to use the park at one time must be no more than 10. Regardless of the number of dogs, please ensure an adult is present at all time (18+)
– Foul language will not be tolerated when using the park, please remain polite at all times.
– Please avoid bringing bitches in heat to the park, this may frustrate or upset other dog/s using the park.
Car Park Area
– Please turn right as you come off the road on to the yard and park within the two gates at the entrance of the field. There is plenty of space to turn around in the parking area.
– Please ensure the gate on to the yard is closed before getting any dogs out of your vehicle and in to the secure field.
– Dogs must remain on leads at all times whilst in the parking area or any area other than the secure field.
– The park gate must be secured before letting any dogs off the lead.
– Please clean up any dog waste left in the parking area, a bin is provided in the parking area.
– A tap and hose are provided in the parking area for cleaning off mucky dogs, please ensure the water supply is turned off on departure.
– We allow no more than two vehicles in the parking area at any one time, it may be easier to reverse in when two vehicles are visiting at the same time.
– Please do not arrive any more than five minutes before your session and please wait patiently for the previous person to depart the parking area before you go in. Remember that other people may have nervous or reactive dogs.
– Dogs must remain in vehicles until the previous user has departed the secure field, loaded their dogs in to their vehicle and departed the parking area.
– Under no circumstances enter the secure field whilst the previous customer is still in there.
– Please allow enough time at the end of your session to get your dog/s on a lead/s, loaded in to your vehicle and depart the secure parking area before the next user is due. This could take anywhere between five to ten minutes, depending on the amount of dogs you have.
Whilst in the Secure Field
– Please ensure you have closed the gate securely.
– You are responsible for all dogs in your care.
– Please clean up any waste after your dog, it ensures the park is clean for the next user. There is a bin provided in the parking area.
– You must never leave your dog/s unattended.
– Please do not allow your dog to dig holes in the field.
– Please do your best to keep any excessive barking to a minimum.
– Please do not shout excessively or use foul language.
– Do not smoke or eat in the field.
– Please do not leave litter in the field.
– Dog treats are permitted for training purposes but please take them with you on departure.
– It is essential to wear suitable clothing and footwear in the field at all times. Areas may be slippery in wet weather.
– Please be respectful of horses and other road users passing on the road next to the field. It is essential that the dog/s in your care are recalled back to you if horses are passing as the horses could spook resulting in the injury of horse and rider.
– A tap is provided in the middle of the field to top up water bowls or the paddling pool, please be mindful to ensure the tap is turned off after use.
– If bringing any toys/tennis balls with you to the park then please take them home with you. If any have been chewed up/destroyed by your dog whilst in the park then please tidy up the remains and take them with you.
– Please ensure that any balls or toys are placed back in the toy box on departure. Be mindful that the next customer may not want any distractions for their dog/s.
– Although the field is maintained regularly we in the country and surrounded by trees so there may be branches, sticks or stones within the field.
– Please do not climb on any gates/fences or tether you dog/s to any fences or gates.
Banned Breeds
We do except dogs subject to restrictions under BSL to use our field. Please adhere to the following requirements;
– Please upload your Public Liability Insurance certificate and Certificate of Exemption when making your booking.
– The dog must be micro chipped and neutered in line with government rules.
– The dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled whilst using the secure parking area and until you have entered the secure field and ensured the gate is securely closed. Once safely in the secure field, the lead and muzzle may be removed.
– The dog must be put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to depart the field.
– Where you have a mixed house hold of one banned dog breed with any additional non banned dog breed dogs then one handler is acceptable. The banned dog breed dog may go off the lead with its muzzle off.
– In a household of more than one banned dog breed then each individual banned breed dog must have its own individual handler if bringing more than one banned dog breed together to the park (additional handler must be aged 16+). The banned dog breed dogs may go off their leads with their muzzles off.
– When visiting the field with a banned breed dog joined by dogs from different households, the banned breed dog must have its own individual handler. The banned dog breed dog must remain on a lead with its muzzle on.
Disclaimers
– The secure field and all equipment within it are used at your own risk.
– Freedom for Paws are not responsible for any damage or loses whilst using our parking area.
– Freedom for Paws will inspect our field and fencing at the very least once a week for maintenance purposes. If you spot any concerns then please notify us.
– Our secure field is secured with six foot fencing with rabbit netting dug one foot under the ground under all of the fencing and gates for extra security. Whilst these steps have been made to ensure the highest possible security, we can not guarantee that it is 100% escape proof. Freedom For Paws is not responsible for any escapees.
– It is up to you to inspect our secure field on arrival for your own individual dog/s to make sure it is suitable for you and your dog/s. If you have any concerns that it in unsuitable then do not enter the secure field. Note that the ground may be uneven or sloping in places.
– Freedom For Paws is not responsible for any injury caused to you or your dog/s.
– Freedom for Paws is not responsible for any vets bills incurred to your dog/s whilst using the field. It is your responsibility to ensure you have Pet Insurance and/or third party liability insurance for your dog/s or any dog/s in your care.
– Freedom For Paws is not responsible for any injury or damage or accidents caused by your dog/s.
– You are responsible for the actions and behaviour of your dog/s and dogs in your care at all times, including in the parking area.
– You are responsible for any injury or damage caused by your dog/s or dogs in your care.
– You are responsible for your own and your dog/s (plus any dogs in you care) safety.
– Freedom for paws is not liable for any bites or injuries incurred to dog’s from mixing dog’s from either the same house or different huseholds.
– You are responsible for any guests including children that join you when visiting the secure field and you must ensure that they are aware of the terms and conditions. You must ensure that children are supervised at all times and do not climb on any agility equipment.
– Freedom for Paws reserves the right to evict any persons from the premises or refuse entry to any persons on to the premises.
– Any professional dog walkers/trainers wishing to use the field must provide a copy of their public liability insurance cover before doing so.
– It is your responsibility to ensure that weather conditions are suitable for your dog/s or any dog/s in your care.
Preservation of Rights
– The land owner maintains control and possession of the field at all times. The agreement does not create any rights for the client hiring the field over the land.
Withdrawal of Facility
– Freedom for Paws reserves the right to withdraw permission to use the secure field facility at their discretion. This could be due to extreme weather conditions, maintenance among other reasons. Dependant on the reason for the withdrawal of the use of the secure field, any advanced payment may be refunded. Freedom for Paws will not be held liable for any other loses incurred due to the withdrawal of the use of the field.
Declarations
I/We agree to abide by the rules, terms and conditions set by Freedom for Paws. I/We accept that the use of the secure field facility is done so at my/our own risk and mine, any people/children attending the field with me and my dog/s behaviour and actions are my sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Freedom For Paws or the landowner.
I/We accept that when hiring the secure field, that Freedom For Paws are not liable for any liability, losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses or other liability incurred.
