If you want a dog park with a view, look no further! Our field is nestled on the side of Mow Cop hill, looking out towards the Welsh hills. The added benefit of being on a hill is that we have an ever so slight downwards slope, which aids in any excess water draining away relatively well. Around an acre in size, the park is the perfect size for your best friend to have zoomies, while remaining a handy size to to be able to work on recall, plus the added benefit of not having to walk too far to pick up any dog waste!

We have gone all out with our fencing, getting in a team of expert fencers to install six foot fencing and gates all of the way around the boundaries of the park, we even went the extra mile to have fencing dug one foot under the ground to ensure of full proof maximum security for your dog.

Our gravelled secure parking area has more fencing and a second six foot gate so that we can maximise the safety of getting your dog from your vehicle and in to the park. There is enough room to turn your vehicle around within the parking area, and also enough room for two vehicles or a large vehicle to be within the two gates. We have a tap and hose within the parking area to aid in cleaning off your dog after using the park.

There are bowls placed around the park with access to a tap which is centrally in the field, to allow for easy refilling.For those hot days, we have a paddling pool, also centrally in the field, so that your dog can cool off, with the added bonus of plenty of tree’s for shade. We have a bench to sit on if you need to rest your legs whilst in the park. There are a couple of wooden agilty equipment to use of which we will be adding to over time.

Regular maintenance of the grass is undertaken by our gardener Andy once a fortnight to keep it nice and short, so that waste is easy to locate.

Directions

If you are heading up Mow Cop Road from Mount Pleasant or the Hollows, you will go around a sharp bend to the left, whilst heading up the hill, the secure field will be visible on your right hand side, continue driving and the road will narrow under some trees and our entrance will be on your right.

If you are heading down Mow Cop Road from Mow Cop or turning left from Dales Green, the road will narrow under some trees and we are the first turning on the left.
